[Nonexplicit discussion of rape]
This whole Moffat leaving Twitter issue has brought up a lot of things. One argument going on is about the rape comments in the latest ep (or at least the suggestion that Solomon had such intentions). So been at a mate's and will be here till Saturday. This means film challenge is pretty much on hold as is most of my fic reading. I'm mainly using this opportunity to watch a tonne of TV. Originally I didn't feel any hate towards the idea, yes, shame on them for blatantly stealing the BBC idea of a modern Holmes but it's business, people tend to be assholes in business. So by some miracle I happened to check the BFI website the same time they fucked up and had Sherlock screening tickets available to anyone when it should have just been champion members so I got a ticket. There was a short period of wondering if I'd be allowed to keep the ticket but then they confirmed that anyone who had made a purchase would keep ( Read more... )
